VBT: Shadows of the Highridge by Jay Swanson

Congratulations to bn100, Mike C., Robert G. and Brian L., winners of the tour prizes and to Queen of All She Reads, the host winner.

Goddess Fish Promotions is organizing a Virtual Book Tour for Shadows of the Highridge by Jay Swanson, a Fantasy available now from The Northern Range. The tour will run December 28 – January 8, and Jay Swanson is available for guest post and interviews. A PDF copy of the book is available for review in conjunction with a guest post or interview.

Jay Swanson will be awarding print copies of Into the Nanten to two randomly drawn winners and a print of the original artwork created for his series Into the Nanten to two other randomly drawn winners via rafflecopter during the tour, and a print edition of Shadows of the Highridge to a randomly drawn host.
Moving along the soil is the quickest way to die; for Tolly to survive she must learn to stay silent. Life on farms like hers was difficult enough in the face of plague and a decade of drought, but something worse has come to the foothills under the Highridge Mountains. Something that will destroy everything she loves.

Mere miles away, Vanig’s search for water to revive his farm is cut short when soldiers arrive bearing dark news of disaster striking farms throughout the region – and they suspect he is the root cause of it all. Those suspicions spike when a disheveled warrior appears hundreds of miles from home and takes Vanig hostage.

Death looms in the shadows of the Highridge.

I would love to host on December 29 with a guest blog about ~ What is the best and most rewarding thing you find about being a writer? Want to share what you think is the worst and most frustrating thing you find about being a writer?
